New use for old gift cards

I've been looking for a stand for my iPhone that will allow me record the sermons at Lakeside.

There must be a tripod attachment for it, so I went searching. In my travels on the internets I came across a really simple stand for an iPod, iPhone, or any Handheld device.

So I went to the junk drawer, pulled out an old iTunes gift card, grabbed a pair of needle-nose pliers and gave it a shot. Here's some photos:

Turns out it works great, doubles as a business card holder, can be straightened and put in your wallet, is free, and repurposed.

Finally a use for all those expired gift cards.

Movember. Extremely disappointing. It was way better last year.

There I said it. Movember has been EXTREMELY disappointing this year. 2 days left, no donations. At least I think I'm raising awareness for prostate cancer.

Last year was WAY better. Why? People knew something was up when they saw my moustache. This year I've recently moved to Salmon Arm, and am just really getting to know people, so the moustache doesn't have the same impact. Most people think this is normal for me.
